Kenmore Envelope Company is a high end commercial printer that specializes in custom envelopes for the Direct Mail industry. Our clients include multiple Fortune 500 companies and agencies throughout the United States. The company has had aggressive growth over the past 10 years and has been in business since the late 1960s.
We are seeking an Warehouse Manager who has the skills and know-how to be successful in this role, AND has a great work ethic, attitude, and wants to be a vital part of our team.
job purpose.
To manage in an organized, efficient, and timely manner the shipping, receiving, and warehousing of materials and products.
responsibilities and duties.
- Organize and oversee shipping, receiving, and warehousing operations
- Work with Human Resources to interview and hire personnel for these operations
- Supervise the personnel in these areas including training, schedules, motivation, discipline, time off, performance reviews, etc.
- Prepare and manage job duties, job training procedures, safety procedures, and SOPs for these departments
- Work closely with Pressroom, Manufacturing, and Scheduling Managers to build and maintain a team approach between departments such as coordinating efforts to make work duties easier, finding ways to make work flow more efficient, having open & constant communication, etc.
- Coordinate maintenance procedures and equipment repairs for warehouse with the Maintenance Manager
- Organize and monitor equipment and supplies for the warehouse
- Build and maintain relationships with hauling companies to obtain pricing & service that stay within company budgets and fulfills customer delivery expectations
- Establish and manage flow & storage of inventory and finished goods in warehouse
- Perform any other duties as deemed necessary by company management
