Envelope Machine Adjuster Trainee
responsibilities and duties.
1. Check work of previous shift for quality & correctness and notify supervisor of any issues
2. Check the quality of the finished envelopes throughout the job by following company quality control procedures and correct issues as necessary to maintain and/or achieve the quality standards
3. Change machines between sizes, styles, windows, gum, and printing from one job to the next with minimal downtime
4. Keep machines running at optimum speed to meet or exceed production targets while maintaining quality standards
5. Identify machine malfunctions, troubleshoot, and correct in a timely manner
5. Work as a team with other adjusters and operators to accomplish shift goals
7. Keep envelope folding machine and area around machine neat & clean
8. Communicate with outgoing shift and incoming shift regarding equipment status, job status, and any other relevant information
9. Perform routine maintenance and general repairs on envelope folding machines as directed by supervisor
10. Duties include standing for most of the shift, repetitive hand & wrist motions, reaching with hands and arms, regular lifting of up to 75 pounds, and possibly working overtime
