Kenmore Envelope Company is a high end commercial printer that specializes in custom envelopes for the Direct Mail industry. Our clients include multiple Fortune 500 companies and agencies throughout the United States. The company has had aggressive growth over the past 10 years and has been in business since the late 1960s.
We are seeking an Information Technology (IT) Network Administrator who has the skills and know-how to be successful in this role, AND has a great work ethic, attitude, and wants to be a vital part of our team.
job purpose.
Provide first-line technical support for office and plant-floor users in a fast-paced environment. Focus on troubleshooting, user support, and maintaining reliable technology operations across production and administrative teams.
responsibilities and duties.
- Serve as primary contact for IT support requests (in-person, phone, ticketing); diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Support remote users with laptops, VPN, and mobile devices; assist during and after regular business hours as needed.
- Maintain, install, and configure hardware, software, and vendor-specific applications.
- Manage network infrastructure, including VLANs, firewalls, access points, and communication systems.
- Oversee Scale Hypervisor environment, backups, and recovery plans.
- Maintain servers (Windows, IIS, SQL, Exchange), VOIP, and IP video surveillance systems.
- Support production-floor systems; coordinate with operations to minimize downtime and escalate critical issues.
- Track IT assets, maintain inventory, and document issues and resolutions.
- Assist with operational and financial reporting; recommend technology improvements.
- Lead special IT projects and stay current on industry and technology advancements
- Follow IT security policies and ensure ethical handling of company data and systems.
